Having migrated from the land of Wales in the early 19th century and settling in Marion, Indiana, this family raised six boys and one daughter. Their growing up years were hilarious, and at family gatherings everyone wanted the stories told over and over. This found me writing the entire account for a keepsake for the family and friends. Unknowingly, the story reveals the way the Powell families have raised their children to be honest, upright citizens with great integrity. With lessons for folk in all walks of life, this book will be a blessing to all who read it. It is more fun to read than it is to learning things. Authenticity is the purpose of this book. For all the hilarious things in it, it's still a book of real success in raising a family.
